The Afsluitdijk
Is a major causeway in the Netherlands, constructed between 1927 and 1933, which connects North Holland province with the Friesland province.
Still with the rented car we decided to take a look at this awesome man-made infrastructure that separates salt water from fresh one. For our stupidity we left Amsterdam at rush hour… It took a while to leave the ring however it was pretty quick to get to the north of holland province.
